3 reviews for 80W LED Corn Light Bulb Without Fan 5000K

  1. 5 out of 5

Just installed some of these 80W LEDs as replacement for 400w Metal Halides. So far they work well, very bright as pictures show even in day light (testing after installation). They provide ample lighting during the night for gas stations. Build quality seems to be high. Be sure to bypass existing ballasts. Will monitor them and update review if anything changes.

  2. 4 out of 5

I replaced a 175 watt metal halide bulb, modified and used the original fixture. It’s outdoors, on a pole, an open bottom fixture with light diffuser around. I couldn’t say if it’s brighter, dimmer, throws light less or farther distance than the mh, I’d just say it’s comparable. I believe that I could actually notice a small difference on the electric bill.

  3. 4 out of 5

Easy to install – just screw it into a light socket. Turn it on, don’t look directly at it, and your dim garage is suddenly bright enough to conduct surgery. The “bulb” is much larger than normal, but has a bazillion led lights all over it,I liked it so much I bought a second one.
