I bought these because the room where I work was too dark. It has a ceiling fan that uses candelabra bulbs and the largest incandescent bulbs I could use were 25 or 40 watts. These bulbs use fewer watts but are much, much brighter. They’re not flame shaped but cylindrical. They fit completely within the glass shades – I found other, flame-shaped bulbs that stick out 3/4 inch. These will brighten up a room. I just got them so I don’t know about longevity or reliability. They are non-dimmable but that’s fine with me.

These are BRIGHT warm lights. Definitely in the 100 watt incandescent class of bulb without the heat and current draw. In process of replacing all my candelabra base bulbs with these. Haven’t burned them enough to know if they’ll last as long as they claim, but so far I like them.
